Aircraft Spins Out of Control into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Shoreline
An aircraft soaring over a popular coastal shoreline abruptly commenced twirling wildly, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm fronds as onlookers looked on.
Footage shared online depict the helicopter beginning to twirl over the shoreline then descending near the edge of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm trees and a steps near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five persons were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on that day.
Three individuals on the road were harmed. Details on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
Planned Function
The department said the aircraft was linked to an annual “Cars and Copters” benefit occasion scheduled for the next day.
