Former Gunners Player Thomas Partey Pleads Not Guilty to Sexual Assault Allegations

Thomas Partey, previously of the Premier League club, has submitted a not culpable plea to multiple counts of sexual violation and one count of non-consensual act at Southwark Crown Court.

He is alleged of attacking a pair of women and inappropriately touching a additional woman. These incidents are said to have occurred between 2021-2022, while his tenure with Arsenal.

During a plea and preparation hearing on Wednesday, the footballer stated his name, birthdate, and pleaded not guilty.

His court appearance followed his participation as a replacement for Villarreal in a European fixture against Spurs on Tuesday night.

Judge Christopher Hehir stated: “The proceedings will begin at this court on November 2nd, 2026. I appreciate that is quite a long way in advance. Due to the accumulation of cases, trials are delayed.”

Bail was approved under the same stipulations as previously, which require avoiding communication with the accused victims and informing authorities of any travel updates. He still play for the national team.

The athlete joined the English club in 2020 from Atlético Madrid in a deal worth £45m. Partey later moved to Villarreal in summer without a fee.
